I am using NIMH batteries. I charge them until they are "full". All my door an window sensors and everything else work fine, but in active home it's showing them "all" as being low on battery but everything works and will continue to work for a year like it did last year before I had to charge them again. Any ideas?

The fully charged voltage on a NIMH battery is lower than a standard alkaline battery. I read about 1.25 volts loaded.
The voltage maybe lower than the sensor is set to trigger on.

Thank you. Sounds about right.

I have used both. for the last year or so I have used alkalines (1.5v). they almost immediately show low batt in 99% of my ds10's in ahp. yet they are good and work for a year or more. I think this is an x10 issue not a 1.2v batt issue.

Mike thanks for the added data.
Very well could be an overactive low battery trigger. ???
