Anybody happen to know if there is an X10 developer's library or anything that details the X10 protocols used by the remote controls and power line carrier? I've been able to make my VA12A work under Linux and I can record video streams from my cameras flawlessly. Granted, I could probably reverse engineer things and figure out their protocols, but something documented would sure take the guesswork out of it. Seems to me that some PHP scripting running on a local Apache web server on a Linux system, it wouldn't be too hard to simply make a web based equivalent of Vanguard and be done with this buggy throw-away Windows program that only seems to be good for taking snapshots.

You may find information here. They have many of the X10 RF and power line protocols documented here.
