Title: Recording Still or Video in AHP

I have been doing alot of reading about flags and phantom modules this afternoon.  I do not quite understand their use.  Could someone please explain to me why you would use a flag or a phantom switch instead of doing the following:

Set motion detector and sensor to B1
Create a macro triggered by B1 as follows:

Start Record Automatic Stills
Delay 10 secs
Stop Record Automatic Stills
Email Notification
Turn Off B1

I have 4 cameras in all (B1-B4).

Flags and phantom modules are used primarily in the home control / automation macros in AHP.

However in your example; a flag might be used if you wanted two motion sensors to trigger within a window of time before starting the recording process,  and neither motion sensor was in the AHP monitored house code.

You would set a flag when the first sensor tripped, and reset it at the end of your time requirement window. Your record macro would be to start recording when the second sensor tripped AND flag was still set.

A flag or phantom could also be used as a condition so other cameras didn't turn that one off untill it was finished recording.
