Title: KR10A not giving a delay with SecuriLink
Post by: oneadvent on April 08, 2011, 10:54:00 PM
I bought the new SC1200. The system has an option for Exit and Enter Delays. I read the book that came with it and that said that on the DS10A modules should be set to min for windows, max for doors, so you have time to disarm the system. I set the delay to 30 seconds, and that works fine if I push the arm buttons on the unit itself, but if I arm with the KR10A I have no exit delay, even on the doors.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or a setting I'm missing?

It is the way the SC1200 console works not the DS10A or in my case DS12A.

If you Arm Away with the console button and the door window sensor is set to maximum {door}. When you exit you get the exit delay set in options and the enter delay set in options.
If you have the door window sensors set to min. You still will get the exit delay from the console Arm Away but no entry delay.
The Arm Home console button also has no entry or exit delays.

If you use the KR10A or KR32A keyfob arm button there are no exit or entry delays.
The KR10A instruction sheet also says its arm button is always Instant.

The SH624 palm pad style remote acts differently depending on its max or min switch setting.
