Not that this is a big deal! The SH624 works fine. I only have one light module anyway. Just curious as to what could be wrong?
-
Does the KR10 Arm and Disarm system?
-
If you are using the KR10A with a SC1200 Console.
The Lights On and Off Buttons on the KR10A do the Second Light Code. Like if you have the Options set to B1 the Second Light Code is B2 and that is what the KR10A will control.
I will try and find my notes but I believe the Lights On and Off Buttons on the SH564 do the Light Code set in the Options menu.
So it does one light code and the KR10A does the other one. :'

Thank you Brian! Oh, and they did replace the bogus KR10As immediately and they work fine. They didn't want the bogus ones (The panic button worked!) back either.
-
Glad to hear the bogus modules where replaced and work fine.
Have you tested the SH624 using the Max or Min switch setting.
Some combinations do unexpected things.
Like Arm Home with Max set. Starts the exit delay before Arming Home.

Gee whiz, what the heck is happening at X10??? They have no QC anymore.

I am feeling stupid again. kr10's wont turn on/off lites. DS7000 on H1. keyfobs arm/disarm fine (3 of em). none will lite a lite module on any setting H1 thru H16.
AHP monitor shows simply:
2905 10/22/2011 3:04:47 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light On
2906 10/22/2011 3:04:50 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light Off
2920 10/22/2011 3:05:26 PM Receive RF Golfcart - Security Light On
2921 10/22/2011 3:05:28 PM Receive RF Golfcart - Security Light Off
946 10/22/2011 3:05:46 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light On
2947 10/22/2011 3:05:49 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light Off
SH624s (2 of em) arm/disarm fine, lites 1-4 sw work fine (send H1-H4 as expected), but one sends for security lite sw:
22/2011 3:05:53 PM Receive RF in House - Security Light On
2952 10/22/2011 3:05:53 PM Receive H8
2953 10/22/2011 3:05:54 PM Receive H On
2954 10/22/2011 3:05:56 PM Receive RF in House - Security Light Off
2955 10/22/2011 3:05:56 PM Receive H8
2956 10/22/2011 3:05:57 PM Receive H On
Not sure where it gets this H8 as both are set to HC H....
second sh624 sends for security lite:
3155 10/22/2011 3:32:49 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light On
3156 10/22/2011 3:32:53 PM Receive RF workshop - Security Light Off
neither of these turn the lite on or off either. except if I set lite module to H8 then it turns on but not off again.
I never bothered with the lites on/off before now so it hasnt mattered.... but I have added a lite on the security DS7000 HC/UC for a vacant house and would like to be able to turn it on/off with remote for testing.
any ideas?

The DS7000 if on H1. Should send a power line H1 On and Off with the KR10A or the SH624's Security Light On and Off.
I do not see any AHP logs showing the console sent the On and Off over the power lines, just the RF commands directly from the remotes.
When you arm away from the console. With a lamp module on H1. Does it go On and Off to indicate an arm?
Does it also flash On and Off during an alarm?
If not the consoles power line signals are not reaching the lamp modules in question.

ah tnx brian. i forgot i shud see H1 on from the ds7000, which is not there of course.... just before this it started acting up and seemed to loose range on remotes big time; I think it may be victim of a lightning strike. I just replaced the cm15 for same reason (it is on same plug) and it now seems to have range again..... I reprogrammed it this last week in attempt to get it back; it had begun to set off the PH508s for about 3 cycles when alarmed a few weeks ago; now that too is gone.
i have multiple locations with ds7000's so have ignored the new model sc1200 reviews since they seemed to indicate problems with present hardware?
guess I will buy a new console tomorrow; any recommendation on sc1200 or stick with ds7000?
tnx

well never mind; i see the sc1200 pull & x10 probably going under..... just bought 5 from the one ebay guy.
they just came in. date code 10L. from the guy on ebay still selling them, for $ 99.00 each. no accessories with them.....
IS THIS A JOKE????????????????
IS THIS WHAT FOLKS MEAN BY "POOR RANGE??????????????"
I could get 2 of the 5 to install 1 KR10a if I tried 22 times; I once had one install a SH526 but never again, I could get a DS10 to install if I held it in my hand and stood on my head and drank a beer from a straw; the other 32 times I opend and closed the sw it would not install. I thought, ok, maybe I am too close; I tried across the room, I tried setting it on top of the SC12A, I tried sitting in my car in the garage with the door open, with the door closed..... do you see how ridiculous this is??????????????
Folks, poor range should mean "it wont work over 200 feet" NOT it won't register 1/2" inch away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I even opened one case and carefully pulled the wrap around 8" antenna wire out - it fits nicely thru the keypad door hinge slot with no mods.... then added another 8" extension to it..... NFG.
Before I return these 5pc does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? If they will work if I only have an icecube in my left hand and stand on my right foot, I WILL try it.....
