Title: Remote is stuck

I just finished setting up my remote and it worked fine for a while.  When I hit the mode button, several icons showed up in the window.  No mater which I hit nothing happens.  Tried the "Quit" button nothing happens.  Any idea how to get out of this?

Remove batteries.
