Title: SC1200 - Arm Away - Does it beep for 1 minute?
Post by: bravoland on July 19, 2011, 07:52:11 PM
I have the DS7000 (or whatever the old school black alarm box) i am looking at upgrading to a SC1200

My question is.(on the DS7000) if i set the alarm from within the house using the Away you have like 60 seconds to exit the house and that annoying beeping that goes on about 1 beep per second until it's set

what does the sc1200 do once you set the alarm in away mode and proceed to leave? does it beep every second for 1 minute as well?

If you use the Arm Away Button on the SC1200 it it has a defult sixty second exit delay.
This delay can be set in the Delay Options to a different time.

If you are using the SH624 remote. How it acts depends on the Min-Max switch position.

It does ding every second on an Arm Away from the SC1200 Console.

Disabling the chime in the options menu stops the Door/Window Sensors from chiming when the zone is opened.
