Title: Daisy-chaining a PA011 Wall Receptacle Module
Post by: vertigo12 on August 06, 2011, 05:55:13 PM
I've purchased a number of PA011 Wall Receptacle Modules with the intention of replacing existing wall sockets. I've found that the existing sockets appear to be in the middle of a daisy-chain of sockets with two black wire and two white wires connected to screw terminals.  Unlike the multiple screw terminals on the normal sockets, the PA011 has three wire leads (black, white, and green). Is it OK from a safety and code perspective to use a threaded cap to connect all wires of similar color together? That is to say, one bundle each of black, white, and green. Will everything work correctly that way? Thanks.

I would think that would be fine.
I believe that is how the Insteon OutletLincs are. Wire leads not screw terminals.
