Title: ActiveHome and SDK kit
Post by: LinTronic on September 07, 2011, 10:40:11 AM

Install package not intended for Window 7 as default path = c:\Program Files\ - must be c:\X10\

Was never able to detect CM15 and get it working.
Had to turn to CM11 which only supports COM1 - not very user friendly.

Really NEED CM15 with RS232 interface.

The sdk works fine with windows 7 for me.
However it isn't designed for 64bit but a version for this I've been told is on the to do list.

The SDK works fine for me on Windows 7 64-bit.
I was told by the developers that there is no advantage to running the SDK in 64-bit mode, so that was not a priority for them.

As for a serial version of the CM15A, I'm afraid you are out of luck. They don't make one.
As I recall, the CM11 supports more than just COM1, it all depends on what com port you have assigned to the physical serial port in your computer.
