I need a bit more information before I can help you out. First, you should reiterate your title in the post but that is just a moderator type comment.

Troubleshooting.

by "jpgs" do you mean .jpg files, or all images?
"looks like flash graphics alive" what does this mean?
are you using the the default browser?
have you changed any settings?
are you connected to the internet?
is the show images option checked in the browser settings?
  - Open browser > Press the menu button > Select More > Select Settings > find "show images" is there a green check in the box

Thank you "YB" for the reply.
I DID check the settings and was sure that a "check' was there  - (a friend looked at it with me) -but today it was NOT checked. This solved my problem.

BTW - mine has "load images". Perhaps an older/newer model?

Also cannot believe that a new device would ship with a critical item lake that turned off.

Now. Can/Will the "cell phone" item ever get a "turn off" switch?

Thanks again

PS: This appears to be more of a "geek tool" then a casual user device.

You are very welcome. Sorry about the difference in terms. I was running off of memory. The battery was dead on my Airpad cause I was playing a game the night before. I forgot to bring my charging cable to work. Ooops :)

I'm not sure why it shipped with that item turned off. That isn't normal. It might of been turned off accidentally during quality testing. We do apologize for that.

We are working on the "cell phone" references and additions of the OS. Android mainly being built for phones, some portions of the references are hard to get to and deep seeded into the closed source part of the OS.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate it very much.
