Title: USB control of x10 on Mac OS X
Post by: lynkyn on November 03, 2011, 05:59:28 PM
I'm looking for a way to control several x10s from my Macbook.  Here's the catch: I want to do it in python.  Is there any way to do this?  Will a cm19a work?  And can you recommend a python script I could use for this?

I know if you have a modified firecracker or keychain control, hook it up to a WebControl board, then you can send the commands through X10 RF.  Here is the link how to modify the firecracker:

In your python, you can call wget to control your X10 devices through WebControl on the network -- next to you or miles away.
