Title: Pan and Tilt buttons no longer work but Sweep and Presets do

Since the last update to 3.318 I find that only camera C1 is fully functional from the AHP interface. I have two other Ninja setups and the only way I can get them to pan and tilt is by using a remote. They will, however, respond to commands from the AHP interface for sweep, center, and presets. Watching the activity monitor when I pan and tilt says it is transmitting 'C PanUp' but when I use it on the other cameras it says it is transmitting 'C PTZ Tilt #' (where # is a different number each time I hit a pan or tilt button on AHP.
Any ideas?

What version of AHP were you using before?
What are the addresses of the other cameras?
What happens if you swap addresses (try another house code), does it send the correct commands? (no need to change the codes on the cameras, only in AHP - to test what commands are being sent - by checking in the Activity Monitor)

Do you have a CM15A, or a CM19A?

It is also possible that your AHX file is corrupted.

I have been keeping up with updates regularly. C1, C2, C3 (not a ninja), C4. I have a CM15A.

I don't have any cameras, so I can't test for you.
I haven't seen any other reports of problems with cameras not responding in AHP 3.318.

You can try changing the codes to D1-4 (just in AHP), and see what the Activity Monitor shows when you try to command the cameras.


You can also try creating a new AHX file, just with those cameras (on C1-4), just to see what the activity monitor shows (and see if the cameras respond).

After much brute force (I guess) I got it working. Don't know what happened there. Weird. But a lot of stuff been weird since the last couple of updates. Thanks again.

You can always check the AHP Bug List (user-maintained) if you are unsure if something you are seeing was reported or not.
