Post by: lparxxx1 on January 18, 2012, 02:50:53 AM
I do not set account anywhere in settings or sub items - any ideas?
Airpad 7p version 2.3.4  just starting setup over past 2 days.

The instructions say to click on settings - accounts, then add account.

When I click on settings on my airpad p, I do not see how to add (or change) accounts anywhere.

"Accounts & sync" is below "Location & security" and above "Privacy".
Are you scrolling down the screen?

There is no Accounts/Sync option on the Airpad 7P.  I've got an email into customer service now.  I cannot sync my google accounts or any other accounts for that matter.  I cannot use my calendar or Docs to Go.  Everything I go into comes up with a prompt for an 'exchange' account.  It will not take the information there either.

Any ideas?

I reset to factory settings - still no accounts & settings after choosing settings.

How do I get in touch with an X10 rep - and does anyone have an airpad 7p that works correctly?

The airpad 7P doesn't have accounts that are used as far as I can tell.
The accounts would only be useful if you had android.market installed on the 7P.

Accounts is necessary to setup email or gmail as well as others - any google accounts for that matter, not just market

I don't use email on my 7p's but I was able to setup a gmail email using the email app that came on the 7p
Don't know if this is what you are looking for

The Accounts & Sync heading will appear once you install the Google android marketplace.

To Moore_tr: I got the google market place installed and there is no accounts & sync heading,

My 7P is working fine, except for Flash.

I use Calen-Goo for calendars.  Syncs ALL of my Google calendars.
Got an app for Hotmail from Amazon.
My email app connects to POP3, not just Exchange.  Think it is the original that came with it.

To hessville.
How did you get the google market place installed?  I keep getting a No Device message and have no phone number to put in.

To FReagan: first you need to join Tuicemens forum:
1) go tuicemen.com/forum/index
2) register
3) in search type: no market, I believe the instructions are the 2nd post.

good luck!
