Title: SC1200 SHOW TAMPER AND LOW BATTERY ZONE ERROR

Hello Guys,

I read all of the posts related to this issue, but I think this is new. I configured my Sc1200 with two magnetic contacts. After a while the LCD show me that zone 4 is low battery, but there is no zone 4. I just did a master reset and then configured it again. Again, one day later the same thing. I noticed that this start when the not configured zones randomly start to blinking. Does anyone know how to correct this?.

Do you have DS10A or DS12A Door Window Sensors?
Is the zone showing Tamper one that is installed or also a fantom zone?

Hi Brian, Accordinly with your questions.

I have installed DS10A. The zone that showing the tamper is a phanton zone.

The DS10A does not have a tamper switch so it should never show that message.
Since the SC1200 seems to be showing zones you don't have and problems in the zones you don't have.
I suspect the SC1200 Console maybe defective.
You may want to try calling or emailing X10 Customer Support.
