Title: Need to physically open my XL

 :( My USB jack on my XL is loose.

I am tempted to try to open the case and try to do something to "stabilize" the position of the USB jack.

Has anyone opened the case? Any tips? Will I be sorry?

Any experience?

I wouldn't open it until u atleast talk to the X10 repair depot.

Two screws on the edge between the connectors and jacks. Then use a plastic credit card to pry the white back off starting at the edge where the screws were. There are several molded clips that need to be released. Be careful as there is a speaker attached to the back that is wired to the io board (short wires).   Do it at your own risk. or seek a pro if you're the least bit unsure. Very fragile wires and connectors. It would be very easy to brick your tablet!!!!
