Post by: Andytec on August 12, 2012, 01:47:42 PM
Does the DX7000 receive any power line signals or does it ONLY receive RF signals ?

What is a DX7000? Maybe you are thinking of an X10 DS7000. That uses the PS561 Security Console.
It receives RF commands only. From Security Remotes, Key Fobs, Motion Sensors and Door-Window Sensors.
Now it does send power line signals for things like the Security Lights, PowerHorns. It also can act like a transceiver for regular X10 remotes for the House Code it is set to.

There is more information on the system here. If you have not found it yet.
