Title: Wired camera mounts
Post by: cccol on January 08, 2013, 03:05:04 PM
I have an Anaconda camera that the mount arm and base broke off of.  Any one know where to get replacements or have engineered something to work?

Have you tried to epoxy the plastic back together?
Depending on where it broke, you may be able to attach a standard "L-bracket" (the kind you'd buy at the hardware store) to the back, and go from there. (You might want to remove the back of the camera first before you drill holes in it, so you don't drill through anything important).

Thanks, Noam.  The "L" bracket may work.  I don't have the base and half of the arm anymore.  Screws were rusted and when I tried to readjust the arm it snapped in two.  The arm mount on the back of the camera is still intact (if I don't break it getting the other piece of the arm  off!).
