Title: Help
Post by: jp398 on March 15, 2013, 11:46:14 PM
Just got 2 new cameras-xc36a and installed software on laptop. Cameras seemed to boot up when connected to router. However IP Camera Tool window is blank . Any ideas? Router is a Westell 7500 supplied by Centurylink for DSL connection. Wrong router? Sorry but very new at this.

What Operating System and version of Internet Explorer?
Some features of the X10 Airsight line only work with IE.

First, during the initial setup, the cameras must be connected to the router via a wired connection. When you run the IP camera tool, the PC must be connected to the network through the same router (either wired or wireless) that the cameras are connected to.
