Title: Framerate varies heavily - XX36A
Post by: OverlordRhode on April 03, 2013, 12:23:31 AM
Using the IPcamClient, my frame rate varies from around 15 (which isn't full speed like it should be), to sometimes as low as one.  What is the issue with this? I was using the ActiveX program to record, which did better recordings, but support decided to ignore me in my previous topic about the issue where it suddenly stopped recording three hours into the night, thus prevent it from being useful.

IPcamClient at least records through the entire night, but it would be nice if it were recording at 30fps and not this random number it always seems to have.

Computer hardware is not an issue. I have a computer that will do anything in a breeze; Custom built 3.7ghz quad core GTX Nvidia 460 with three hard drives and a fast router.

So guys, what's going on?

It's not the hardware, it's the software. Does it create a cache for recording?
