Is there any way to tone down, turn off the blinking internet connection light on this camera?

Question; the color I get from this camera has a purplish hue, any ideas?
is this any time of day or at a specific time..?

The color changes on my xx40a when the sun is at a certain time position that would activate the IR for night time viewing. Then it returns to normal.

Note: camera is not pointing in the direct of the sun for this to happen on my camera.

Any one have information on the issue of camera parking itself in the full, up position without input from the operator? This happens the same way the camera behaves when you plug out, then plug in the camera. No, this is not caused by any power bumps. It happens quite a bit. Thanks
