Did you try resetting to factory defaults?
Ddi you connect wired to your router and try resetting up?
See user manual how-to.

pretty sure its

admin for user name

double check and download the user manual from the x10 site support link for your camera(s)

ok so i fixed one problem, the coaxial port on the camera was loose, i had to take the camera apart and found that the wire going to the port was broken off...so i soldiered that back together and put it all back together and now the camera is seeing my wireless network, but when i put in all the info and connect to it, it seems to work, until i disconnect the cat5 wire from the camera

i followed these instructions:
http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/XX36A_Getting_Started

but after it instructs you to setup and connect to the network, when i submit it,i unhook the cable as it reboots, then i get an error:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Go here and download the manual

http://www.x10.com/support/support_manuals.htm

or

You can go (  get it to work wired first ) to the software and click on network> wireless lan settings> scan

VERY IMPORTANT: you may have to click scan more than once ( i had to do mines at least 3-5 times ) before it sees your router. Then find your router in the box> highlilght it then

check the box Using Wireless lan> submit> Unplug Cat5 cable from router/camera

should be good to go.
