How long does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop...1...2 opps wrong forum
How long...hours /days/weeks can the video record to the hard drive?
How about the 32GB card ?
Please give some real numbers.. or a guesstomate.

If I understand the question: an hour of low compression NTSC video is about 12GB. Once you start compression that rule of thumb sorta goes out the window. MPEG2? MPEG4?, AVI? etc.

I was trying to get some idea.. in days/hours with these cameras
airsight Compression: H.264, MJPEG or
X10 AirSight PTZ Wireless IP Camera using a sd card with the computer
on the lenght of time.

Sorry, Can't help you. Newer standards for static security cameras is far different from what I was familier with.

It appears, the amount of motion a camera sees dramatically affects the amount of compression that can be applied to the video. In other words a camera using H264 codec compression pointed at an empty livingroom will, at the end of the day, create a much smaller file than a camera pointed at a busy street. Amount of compression and file size is dynamic and varies with the amount of motion in the frame. So you might start a new file and look at file(s) size 24 hours later for an estimate.
