Title: SecuriLink and wireless motion communication
Post by: OMamed on June 06, 2013, 06:16:41 AM
I have a securilink system, and several motion sensors connected to it.  Two of the motion sensors, even with new batteries, seem to lose contact with the securilink.  This does not allow me to use the alarm without disabling the zone.  The motion sensor distance from the base is only 25 feet with little structural obstruction.  Is there a way to improve the reception of the Securilink base?  Thanks for any help.

The consoles antenna is wrapped around the inside of the case.
You may want to try as a test having it vertical on one of its edges.

Some have use a passive radiator near the motion sensor or door/window sensor.

There is an antenna modification for the console.
It would void any warranty left on the console. It requires some skill in electronics and mechanical modifications.
