Title: CM15A Availability
Post by: m82a1pa on February 17, 2014, 09:23:13 AM
In looking on the new x10 website, I no longer see any mention of the CM15A.

Has anyone heard anything about their intent on developing/selling a comparable unit?

AHP is not very useful without it.

AHP isn't even available right now due to server issues.
The cm19 and cm11 will work with AHP.
I have seen the Cm15 available online but no one is selling it grouped with AHP as it is impossible to install a North American version right now.
Authinx does plan on continuing this product but with out access to the software the power of the unit is limited to having to remain connected to a PC.
There are new products in the works which many of us are watching for.
A new WiFi module is in production and we may see it by end of March or at least have more info on it as to if it will replace the CM15.
As of right now it only looks like it will be designed to handle PLC or RF.
My bet is on RF as Marmitek has a similar unit out now (however I'm told it isn't the same animal)

You can get one in the US for $80 here: http://www.x10.com/cm15a-module.html

Tuicemen's AHP 3.318 download or the Marmitek version (european modules) will work with it. Marmitek version has european model numbers and modules, but a lamp module is still a lamp module and it does work.

I purchased one from x10.com a few months back and it's working fine.  I'm also running the Marmitek software with no issues.
