Title: Super confused about AHP and CM15a and how to reinstall
Post by: fitbrit on July 10, 2014, 02:48:20 PM
Hi guys.
I've been away from this forum for many months. I have come back and am trying to follow all that has happened recently, but I'm quite confused. Here'smy issue, and I would really appreciate someone telling me:
a) whether it's an issue at all
b) If so, what's the best way to proceed.

I have a PC running AHP, with the CM15a attached. It's time to reformat the PC and reinstall a minimal set of applications, since it's really the living room HTPC. I want to reinstall AHP temporarily on it, and then eventually migrate AHP and the CM15a to a very low-powered PC that will run 24/7.
From what I'm reading, the reinstallation of the software might be problematic?
I don't think I have my original disk any more, if indeed I ever had it. Also, are drivers needed for the CM15a?
I am a bit confused, but there seems to be a workaround with getting the Marmitek AHP and converting it to NA?

Any help appreciated.

You didn't loose any AHP disks or CD's. There where never any sent with the purchases.
X10WTI sent you a email with a link to download and register the software. That is now part of the problem. As of now the new X10 owners Authinx have not gotten all the servers running again.

You may want to search here as I know there are some threads on how to proceed

There is a full installation set of files available for the US version.
Tuicemen has lots of good information on AHP and installation issues and workarounds. You may want to look there also.

Thanks. You confirmed what I suspected was happening. Off to Tuicemen I go...
