Title: Light Not Activating with Signal - CONFOUNDED !!!
Post by: bt54 on January 11, 2015, 06:35:38 PM
Here's my setup
Wall Switch (L10 - WS467) is activated by a door opening (A1 - DS10A Sensor).  Macro is set to turn on L10 when A1 (DS10A) signals.  A CM15 has all controls and is set to operate independently of the PC.  The DS10A signal is displayed on a SR751 Receiver and within AHP on the activity page.
The Turn On signal is being transmitted by the CM15 as indicated in the activity.
The light does NOT turn on.
BUT - I can turn on the Light using an HR12A Palmpad.
Test - I added an appliance module (set as L10) connected to a fan.  Neither the Light or the Fan Turn On with the macro.  Both Fan and Light Turn On with the Palmpad.

My conclusion is:
The signal is being transmitted by the sensor and received by AHP.
The Turn On signal is being transmitted but does NOT work.
BUT an ON signal from a Palmpad is successful.

I've attached a file with the macro.

HELP !!!!!

How is the MR light configured in AHP is it configured as  "older lamps (non softstart)" or just  "lamps"?
It must be configured correctly or AHP will not work correctly with it however a palm pad will.

Tuicemen,
The switch is configured as "older lamps - no softstart" - module: wall switch module.  It is the older style with arrows on the dials.

I did not note in my explanation that the sensor\lamp macro works immediately after a sensor reset but stops working the next day.

I'm confused a ds10a is a security sensor and doesn't transmit a standard X10 RF signal like A1
What is converting the security signal to standard X10 RF?
You should have the OnAlert plugin and use security as the macro trigger

AHA!!! - You hit the nail on the head.

I set this up with the Marmitek version which had OnAlert.
Now using the American version.

I'm going to have to wait until your registration workaround is on line to get it working.

Very Nicely Done !!!

Tuicemen,
I ran AHP Lifejacket and received the following error: Could not find the 'x10prodsys'

I have all of my registration ID's but not any old files from a registered version.

Please post AHP Lifejacket questions in that thread!
The file is in the latest release but may have been deleted from your x10 common folder.
I'll need to know things that may help others in the same situation.
Windows version?
Are you Administrator?
Where do you have AHP installed?
Did you install AHP 3.318 or just copy AHP over from another PC?
