I am selling my home and have a number of Leviton and Decor X10 switches that no longer work. I want to make them regular switches.
What do I replace these switches with Leviton or Lutron - NOT X10?
6291
6381-U
6381
6383
6294 (slave)
Thanks in advance,
Gary (in snowy NJ)

Snowy NJ. I am in snowy CT. I was born in NJ and still have relatives there.
I found this data in some Leviton Technical papers. Some members may have more detailed information for you.
The 6291 is a On/Off relay type. You can replace it with a standard wall switch.
It used a Neutral Power connection. A standard switch does not need. You can cap it off or use it if the new switch had a pilot light.
The 6381-U is a 500 watt Low Voltage lighting dimmer. What type load is on it?
The 6381 is a 500 watt dimmer. You should be able to use any two wire wall dimmer to replace it.
The 6383 is also a 500 watt dimmer with an added control input.
The 6294 is a slave switch to control other switches.
Is the 6294 controlling the 6383? That will influence what is picked for a replacement.
