Title: ahp stopped opening after windows 10 upgrade

Hello,
    I just upgraded to windows 10 and ahp will not open. Keep getting an error message that says "ahp has stopped working". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the ahp program twice with no luck. Any suggestions?   Thanks, Mark

Try going to  C:\ProgramData\X10 Settings
find x10active.xml
rename or delete it then restart AHP, you don't need to reinstall AHP

I hate to be so dense , but I cannot find the file you mentioned. Multiple searches...no luck. Any further suggestions?

I have Windows 10 and I can confirm the file exists on my system in C:\PROGRAMDATA\X10SETTINGS directory.

You will need to enable seeing hidden files and folders most likely to find this.
Originally X10WTI stated you needed to delete this file and reinstall AHP.
However it has become corrupt so many times on me that I soon realized that wasn't the case.
It usually got corrupt on a Windows Update with me so I imaging a upgrade could also cause it to get corrupt.

I just found the file and deleted it. All is well now. A bit if a learning curve with windows 10 and the file search. I really appreciate the help. Mark
