Title: Connecting 2 xps4 switches to ONE common hot feed
Post by: nabril15 on July 02, 2016, 05:34:26 PM
I am contemplating the feed of 2 xps4 switches from one common hot feed cable. Obviously, I'll have to use 2 pigtail sets of wires to the respective connectors (live, load,  and neutral).
Can I connect my 1 incoming wires to one xps4, and then feed the other xps4 using the connectors on the back of the xps4 (control perhaps)?

You should be able to connect the incoming Line and Neutral to one of the XPS4 Line and Neutral terminals and use the second set of terminals on the first one to jump to the second one. If it is easier to wire.
Loads are separate as you would expect.

Thank you as always Brian.
I completely forgot that each xps4 switch has 2 terminals for each (line, load, etc). So I will connect directly to one switch, and then jump to the other for line and neutral -cleaner and easier.
