Title: I have the Plato SmartLinc Suite 2.0 for Smartlink controller box.
Post by: James G on March 05, 2019, 04:39:19 PM
I spoke with Roger at X10 tech support. He suggested I join the Forum and and contact Tom Tuiceman to post this in case there is any interest.

I am still using the Plato SmartLinc Suite 2.0 for Smartlink controller box from years ago. I still have the floppy disks which I have converted to 3 folders which will install the software if anyone is interested.

Is there anything better now?

I'm unfamiliar with the software or hardware your currently using.
So as far as if anything currently available is better I can only speculate.
Software wise there have been lots of advancements weather the hardware will work with it I don't know.

With a web search.
I found the Smarthome 1620B Kits manual. That included the 1101B interface, X0 Power Line Interface and PlatoTW software.
Manual was dated 2/99. So you have been using it for a long time.
It does look like it was high end and has many advanced features. For its time.

Anyone wanting to see what it could do.
