Title: 📷Pro IP Camera
Post by: Tuicemen on April 27, 2019, 05:57:24 PM
"Saddly this widget doesn't work with the new HG UI :("

The generic Camera is fine for simple viewing however I required more.
This includes the options to switch to 4 different Camera pre-sets (if the camera is capable of that) and allows one to take a snapshot and email it to a recipient while viewing.
Also added is the option to display in portrait view.
Hovering your mouse over a icon will display info about what it does
This includes a new widget with the pre-set buttons and snapshot button displaying at the top as well as the options available in the generic camera program.
I may add more options to this as there is still room for at least 2 more buttons in the header field.
Additional options may be added in the future.
I've tested this with Airsights xx69, xx79 , Foscam mpeg cameras and Easyn mpeg cameras I do have the pre-set codes for the older Airsight modles but since I don't have one I couldn't test one.

Install instructions:
download the ProIpcamera.txt file and rename it to ProIpcamera.zip then unzip it inside there is the 1025-Pro_Ip_Camera.hgx program install it as any other program. see: http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=30927.msg182200#msg182200
Also there is another zip file inside (tuicemen_media_procamera.zip) don't unzip it that is the widget, install it as you would any other widget. ;)

Gene is apparently working on code for custom widgets to display
properly.

I've been playing with a few more options controlled from the widget.
I discovered I can click on the name or description text and have the widget do things as well :)%
Also found out how to blink the icons and or text (name or description) on a click. This make for a good indicator that the click was seen.
Since I tend to go to the camera web UI ever so often to play with settings, I think I'll add the ability to open a new web page to that from the widget.
If anyone has any other option ideas post them and I'll play with adding them too. ;)

I updated and posted the Pro IP camera program and widget.
added are,
1: blinking icons in the widget when you click on a pre-set to indicate the command was sent.
2: a jump to the Cameras Web UI  to setup presets and quick access to other setup options.
clicking on the description in the widget (camera#) performs the task.
3: option for the Web UI address is in the programs settings.

Also if anyone needs the pre-set codes for your camera I posted the ones I have in my forum you can easily see what the code would be for extra pre-sets should you wish to expand the number of Icons in the widget and code http://forums.tuicemen.net/index.php?topic=1345.msg8368#msg8368

With the new HG looking like the only option moving forward and no generic camera widget to play with I dug into the new custom widget add to HG.
I'm able to view IP cameras  using the video source widget and setting the value to  image refresh, setting the url to the snapshot html for the IP camera that includes your user and password.
