Title: Remote Problem

Hi,

My SH624 remote stopped working.  I tried new batteries and also tried obtaining a new code and re-registering it.  Then, I tried a second SH624.  Neither of them are working however my KR10A key chain remote still functions normally. 

Any thoughts on why the key chain remote still works but the handhelds do not (or, how to get the handhelds working again)?  Thanks.

You don't  say which security console or transceiver your using this with.
It is possible your security console has the maximum zones configured so you'd need to reset it and start fresh.

Hi Tuicemen,

sorry for my oversight - I am using an SC1200.  I only have four remotes registered - I think this is below the maximum.  Thanks for your reply!

I had a similar problem a while back. I thought everything was at end-of-life. In desperation, I pulled the console plug and battery to clear memory and reprogrammed and all the remotes worked again.
