Title: BSR Timer 50hz conversion
Post by: PCD on August 25, 2022, 02:37:38 PM
Hello,
I'm fairly new to x-10. I'm from Germany and only have a few German modules.  Now I've bought a few American modules and successfully converted them for 230V.  But I also got an original BSR timer that I would like to use.  I don't see a quartz in it so it will run on mains frequency.  does anyone know the pin assignment of the IC?  It's a Pico 8028. The timer was also sold in Germany for a short time, but I can't find one to buy to find out the pinout for 50Hz.
Greetings

Is the model number of the timer a X10-TC262?

Thank you for the model number.
I did find one in a search so now we know what you have.
That may help in finding you an answer.

I hope someone has information about the timer or IC.  I think other models will also have the ic.  The later ones with a back-up battery could be different.

What I forgot to say, on top of the IC it says Pico 562D and further down it says GI 8028

Is this a labor of love or because you actually want to use it?  If the latter, the timer without the battery backup is useless. I threw mine away 25 years ago.

A bit of both.I have a completely vintage interior.  So the Timer fits perfectly.
