Title: What happened??
Post by: john on February 08, 2005, 01:28:55 PM
Here's the scoop: I've got an MS14A "EagleEye" motion
sensor, and 3 WS12A dimmer switches.  You trip the
motion, and a macro executes to turn the lights on.  Piece
of cake, and it was working on Friday.  I come in Monday,
and now it isn't!  On the AHP software, the icon for the
motion detector never animates, but if I click the little "H"
icon, it DOES show each and every action.  Same goes for
the macros...they show that they are receiving on and off
signals, but the macros don't execute.  Even starting from
scratch I can't get the motion to work.

Now I did upgrade to 3.179 before checking anything on
Monday morning, but downgrading hasn't helped.  And
this is not just a AHP software issue as the the CM15A
doesn't work on it's own either.

I'm at a complete loss here!

John: Can you control the modules that are
part of the macro from the screen? If you run
the macro from the software do the lights
turn on?

Indeed they do.

And like I said, each and every push of the ON/OFF button
on the motion sensor shows up on the Activity Monitor.
The unit code is correct too.

At the risk of repeating myself...even though the activity
monitor shows this info, the module icon never animates
and the macros never trigger.  I've tried setting different
house codes/unit numbers to no avail, and I've also tried
another (brand new) motion.

John: I just sent you an e-mail about this.
