Title: Automatic polling?
Post by: omar on April 28, 2005, 11:39:48 PM
Hello, is there anyway to have all my lm14a
modules auto-poll so my screen can stay
refreshed without me having to push poll on
all the modules when whats on the screen
doesnt match with what is "live"

Omar: The LM14A has a mode where it
automatically reports its status when it
changes, and that should be reported on the
screen. Are you seeing the on screen module
not match when the CM15A has been
disconnected from the computer and then
reconnected, or does it happen when you leave
the CM15A connected all the time?

If you leave the CM15A connected all time,
the screen should update correctly when you
issue commands with a remote control, or when
timers and macros run. We know that this
isn't working consistently in some cases,
and that should be improved in the next update.

Most of the time it works fine...Only time
that it does not display the correct info is
when I have modules on (triggered through a
macro) and then I open up the
software...When I open the software all
modules report off and at zero percent even
though some modules are on...

Omar: That's something we'll be fixing soon.
