Title: Camera monitoring and remote viewing
Post by: bjørn wirum on May 09, 2005, 03:39:43 AM
Hi,

I have a question regarding your products.
I've been browsing your site and can't really
figure out what I would need and what I don't.

Now, here's what I'm looking for:

1. 2 cameras, one on each opposite corner of
the house to monitor activity.
2. Ability to remotely view the activities as
well as recording any motion going on.
3. Obviously motion detecting to turn the
cameras on so it won't totally blog the
diskspace after a little while.

I'm not, right now anyhow, looking for any of
the smart home things.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Regards,
Bjørn Wirum

Before you depart from your hard earned
cash, keep browsing these forums, the key
element “CM15a + ActiveHomePro + plug ins”
has a lot of problems, and so far they have
not be able to fix it reliably.
There are many other sites with reliable
products, X10 it’s not one of them.

Bjørn: If you're not looking for home control
(lighting and automation) features, you'll
probably want to use Vanguard Internet
Control Center with the wireless cameras that
suit your needs best.

Despite Carmine's post, Vanguard, ActiveHome
Pro, and our other products are stable should
do what you need.

X10 Pro

I guess all of the frustrated users
reporting constant problems on you forums,
and AccessX10.com are a figment of my
imagination.
