Title: phone call from AHP
Post by: Steve0 on September 24, 2005, 08:50:49 PM
Can AHP make a call to a phone number when a
motion sensor is triggered?  Does anyone know
any good places to find for info on this subject?
Thanks

Indirectly, AHP can trigger an autodialer
through a Universal module.

If you have a program or a batch file that
can dial a phone through your modem, you
might be able to do it with the Advanced
Macro command that runs a program.

SteveO there is a little program called
Phone_Alert which will automaticaly dial a
number and play a wave file full version
will allow you to hit a key on the phone and
activate a program/batch file You would need
the Smartmacro feature to use this or the
free addon X10dispatch and a voice modem.
You can find it here
http://pierrejean2.free.fr/phone-alert/
x10dispatch you can find here:

You can find more info and post questions
abut x10dispatch or other H.A. Software here:
