Title: Farewell Sale

What's all this about a "Farewell Sale"? Is
X10 going out of business? I just bought an
ActiveHome Professional System with
extended warranty. I'm thinking I should
cancel the extended warranty if they aren't
going to be around to provide service. I
haven't seen any concern by others so am
wondering if I misunderstood the ad?

I would not say it is 'false and misleading'
advertising but their marketing people seem
to 'pushing the envelope'in that area.
It looks to be only only a flurry
of 'limited time' offers.

I take it that you think this is just their
normal marketing technique? If so, I got
news for X10. This method has probably
backfired on them with some folks. How many
people, like me, would interprete it to
mean the company is on it's way out? How
many would be willing to invest in their
products if it appeared they wouldn't be
around to support them? I think that's a
terrible marketing approach. Anyway, I'm
hoping that the company is strong and will
be around because I really like the system
I bought.
