Title: AHP V3.200 Bug #4: Macro Default Delay Interval not memorized
Post by: Eric Edberg on February 03, 2006, 07:01:34 PM
I sent an email to ahp support with a
description of this problem.  This post
just documents the problem on-line.

BUG #4
-----------------------

When I changed the Tools -> Preferences ->
Macro Options -> Default Delay Interval,
from 5 to 1 minute it will not remember
this setting.  When AHP is shuts down and
restart, this setting default to 5 minutes
again and is not saved.

Comment:
I hope this setting does not restrict
macros from executing only once per XX
minutes.  It is not clear to me what this
option means.  Where is the help guide for
this option?

I "could" want macros that need to operate
in less than 1 minute intervals.  If this
options prevents me from creating a macro
that will trigger one once per minute, then
it is a limitation.  The need to inhibit it
is required.

Thanks for letting us know about this.

This setting controls what time a delay
starts at when you drag a new one into a
macro. It doesn't affect your ability to
change delays in a macro, and it doesn't
affect how the macro will execute once it's
created.

As a suggestion, you could make this even
more user-friendly if the options was
changed to SECONDS, not minutes.

It's a pain to always have to update the
delay to seconds each time.  Minutes
provide no value to me.  My delays are
always "seconds"...

I agree, let us set the default to seconds
