A software update for Microsoft XP is
available (dated June 28th 2005) for X10 USB
ActiveHome (ACPI-compliant). I am currently
running AHP (software version 3.175) with no
apparent problems. I hesitate to change
anything since my AHP is working (although I
have not used any macros). Should I apply
the XP update for X10 and upgrade to X10
3.201?

If you are going to update, 3.201 is the
version you want.
As to a software update for Microsoft XP is
available (dated June 28th 2005) for X10 USB
ActiveHome (ACPI-compliant), if you have been
running XP for a while, you should already
have it. BTW, make sure XP is set to
automaticly get updates for everything. Takes
the pain out of getting MS's upgrades.

The update is a revised version of the CM15A
driver only, and won't affect the operation
of AHP -- if you do the update on the
Microsoft site you still will have AHP
version 3.175. My tendency in situations like
this is to not update unless there's a change
or new feature you desire.

I ran Windows Update, and among the Security
and other updates I got was the X10 USB
ActiveHome (ACPI-compliant) one.
My AHP version was 3.201 before and 3.201
after the all the updates were installed.
My O/S is WinXP Home SP2.
