Title: flags won't set
Post by: kenny on April 15, 2005, 06:12:35 PM
New for today! Flags can't be set anymore!
These are critical for my macros and they
stopped working today.

Any ideas?

There is a problem in some circumstances
where the Status Report isn't displaying the
correct flag data. Try triggering a macro
that sets a flag, and then trigger a macro
that uses that flag as a condition -- it
should work.

That's exactly how I know that the flag isn't
set.  I ran a macro tht sets a flag and then
a light turned off via a macro that is
conditioned on an off signal from a motion
but only if flag 2 is off.  Status report
show flag 2 off and everything behaves as if
it really is.  The flag isn't being set.

Are you using the "Run Macro" button in the
software, or triggering with a remote control?

I originally ran the macro from the software.
I just tried it with the RF switch I usually
use and the report noted the flag as set.
That's wierd because usually when all else
fails the software button are usually the
last to fail.

The "Run Macro" button doesn't currently set
flags, but that will be fixed in the next update.
