Title: Advice on obtaining software for USB controller
Post by: steve on October 08, 2005, 07:39:42 AM
I have been a long time user of X-10
equipment in my home and very happy.  I
purchased the USB controller and installed
it on a "utility" computer on my home
network.  The system crashed and I no longer
have the link to download the software to
interface with the USB controller.  I
emailed tech support, but no answer.  Can
someone help?
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,
If you don't have the original e-mail
download link that contains your unique
ordernumber authorization, I suspect you may
have to call and get another download link
reset.  The number is : 1-800-675-3044

SteveRF,
Thanks for the response.  I've tried
several times this week to get through.  I
will get the "unusually busy" message and a
hangup.  I'm trying email again.  Can I ask
you or anyone else of options.  If I
purchase a SmartHome controller, can I
expect it to work with my modules?  This
has gotten very frustrating.
Thanks again.

If you have access to the e-mail address you
originally purchased the software with and
the order number, you can get a new link to
the software mailed to you automatically at:

Thanks to Roger H. and SteveRF.  X-10
support emailed me the software and I
should be back in business.
