Title: Joe has a question
Post by: joe on December 08, 2004, 05:43:43 AM
Once you buy from x10.com you get slammed
by their e-mail ad server. No way to
unsubscribe in e-mail you must dig around
their site. They openly admit to
circulating your e-mail address to over
vendors. Their pop-up ads must be disabled
on your browser. Never again, terrible
customer impression.

Oddly enough I have never received an email

mind getting advertisments from them either
as I throughly enjoy their products.

I receive X-10 spam now as a result of
ordering.  I regret using my primary email,
as I have no idea what other sorts of
solicitaion i'll now receive as a result of
this.

Thankfully, so far it has only been from X-
10, and only a single email.

At the bottom of every newsletter I get, "We
hope you enjoy receiving this newsletter.
X10 reserves the right to discontinue or
change the posted promotional deals at any
time. To stop receiving or to change your

here:" and then a link here,

I use Incredimail which lets you block
senders, Outlook probably does too
