Title: using floodcams with VCR Commander II (UX23A)
Post by: sams on September 12, 2005, 01:51:34 PM
Hi all,

I currently have the wire less cam with VCR
Commander (UX21A).  Now, I'm getting 3
floodcams and the VCR Commander II
(UX23A) since it can supports 4 devices.

A question on setup.  When you set up a
motion sensor with the vcr commander, I
need to (from the instruction)

1. Press and hold PLAY on the VCR
Commander II until the red light
stays on.
2. Press the HOUSE button on the motion
sensor. The red light on the
VCR Commander will go out. This motion
sensor will now start your
VCR Commander. Point the motion sensor
away so it can’t see motion.

Now, if I use the floodcam, there is no house
button !!!

So, what do I press or what do I need to
do???

Thanks.

Instead of pressing the button have someone
trip the floodcam motion sensor the UX23A
will use that setting.  Do that for each
floodcam.

AL, appreciate your input.  I'll give it a try.

Thanks again.

You can also temporarily change any motion
sensor to the same house/unit code as you
plan to use on the floodcam ... program
your VCR commander according to the
instructions using  the motion detector,
then set it back to whatever it was
before.

Steve,

Thank you for your input.  The floodcams kit
just came two days ago.  I'll try to set them up
in the next few weeks.
