Title: X10 Cameras
Post by: tony gerada on October 25, 2005, 11:58:30 PM

Hi,
I live down under, can the X10 cameras be
switched to transmit PAL instead of NTSC.
Thanks
Tony

They transmit STATIC format images. This
will be compatible with any TV with all the
circuitry ripped out of it.  The resolution
is really 10 pixels by 12 pixels.  This is
high resolution for the STATIC standard.
And the night watch cameras are just that,
you can watch the dark night with a black
image on your screen.

They are NTSC and if you don't have  120
volt power the supplies will also not
connect to the mains.

Static to me is the noise a receiver makes
when NO signals are there just the back
ground noise.

not static, you dolt!  STATIC is the iso
5872.9a standard for electronic crap that
doesn't work at all.
