Title: Furnace fan kicks on, vid turns to garbage.

Since everything seems to work until and
while my furnace fan is not running, the
obvious answer is a filter or choke (I'm a
relative novice in electronics).

Any suggestions on what to try and where to
put it?  I assume that close to the moter
that is causing the problems would be better
to get the filtering before it spreads to the
house wiring.  Or should I be looking at the
wireless side?

I think I would try one on the fans AC
supply first. A noise on 2.4Ghz is possible
but line noise seems more likely. An X10
type would be best as they are tuned not to
pass X10 band line frequencies. So they
would not absorbe the X10 signals on the
line side of the filter.

I ran into another post that mentioned using
an am band radio to track down noise. I
haven't tried it, but it sounds like a
logical way to trace , until I get something
better.

I'll get a couple X10 filters.  I didn't know
that there was such a beast.

Thank you, you've saved me a lot of chasing
around for specs, and 'learning opportunities'.
