Title: Video Sender Quality

I purchased a wireless video sender and
have it working.  The problem is the
picture quality is poor, the colors are
washed out and it is like someone took the
brightness control and turned it all the
way up.  I turned off my wireless equipment
and it had no affect, is this a bad unit or
is this the normal quality of this unit?

I noticed the same thing when I had it connected to the 75ohm connector. When I changed to the RCA connectors,(Video 1) the colors are perfect. Try it, may solve the problem.

I've never tried the 75ohm  coax connector always use the RCA connectorsand my pic Quality is very good! how ever many things besides wireless devices will effect its reception Any metal, microwaves just a few .Play with the antenna and try the cam next to it to see if it is a bad unit but use the RCA jacks as jay148 suggested as well and try the other codes a,b,c,d on the bottom ,on the cam the switch is under the rubber stopper!

Hi would you say the picture is identical to the source like advertised, and why do you think there's a problem with the 75 ohm connector poor colors ect. Thanks

Hard to say if quality is as good or better Don't know the light sorce or cables they used.
The low light cams I'd have to say quality is worse then shown. My colour cams are as good or better quality.
As for the RCA connectors being better take a look at any VCR owners manual they state for best quality use RCA cables/jacks  the 75ohm cable is for low quality (poor colors) If you look at a DVD player manual you'll see there are better quality RCA cables as well that are recommend. ;)

i just bought this setup and I get heavy flickering on my tv?  any thoughts on this

Could be a number of things. but sounds like you need to adjust the antenas.
try to aim the anntena so if you looked threw one it you could see the other.
There are many posts on here which pin point problems and how to correct them.
microwave ovens cordless 2ghz phones and large metal objects in between the two antena will cause problems.also check the video cables poor quality dollar store ones are bad for this.

Tuiceman is right 2.4Ghz cordless phones will play havoc with the system. If you have that type of system like I did the picture is lousy. I had to bit the bullet and buy a new phone system.
