Title: Video sender IR Connection
Post by: kendy on February 09, 2006, 04:27:15 PM
I have a x10 video sender with the remote
that was free. My satellite receiver is
Coolsat.  I'm trying to connect from the
sender to my receiver but i don't see where
i can plug in the IR connection to my
receiver.  Does that mean i can't switch
channels on my TV? is there any other way?
what do i have to do?

You have the sender kit vk54a with free
ur73a-2 five in one remote?
You need date on how to connect the
satalites receivers video to the sender or
trying to get the remote to control the
satalite receiver?

OK Think I got the picture. Does the
satalite receiver have it's own remote that
is IR? Wire for IR?
Do you have an IR receiver that has a wire
on it thet needs to be connected to
something?

yes it has it's own remote controller forthe
satellite. the video sender has it's IR
output and i need to connect it to the SAT
input but it doesn't seem to have an IR
connection on it.

you know what, i think the remote is LED.
it's a coolsat pro 4000 receiver. it might
not be IR.

OK I downloaded the manual for the Video
Sender. The manual said RCA DBS II or later.
So I doubt it will do anything for you; if
you have no such input.
