Title: Turning on light with motion detector?
Post by: bob on November 08, 2005, 06:31:07 PM
I have my 3 cameras working off their own
motion detectors and they are working fine.
Is there a way to have the motion detector
turn on a lamp along with it's assigned
camera? What is needed? Thanks.

Yes - use a Lamp Module or Socket Rocket on
the same address as the camera power supply.

Thanks Dave W. - What is the differance
between the Lamp module and the Socket
Rocket? Is it that the lamp module is just
that - you plug a lamp into it. And the
socket rocket? You could just screw it into
say an existing ceiling light? Do you set
the socket rocket the same way? (just click
a little numbered knob) Thanks again. Bob.

Bob, your descriptions of both units are
correct. The Socket rocket does not have
HCUC wheels, it's address is set
electronically. You can download manuals
