I have ordered a signal coupler repeater
module to bridge my two phases on one fuse
box. One of my problems is that we have
two fuse boxes with the phases to both
boxes coming into the house independently.
Our house only had a 200 Amp service when
we had bought it, and when we replaced our
gas heaters and finished our basement, we
had to upgrade to a 400 amp service which
left us with 2 fuse boxes. Our top 2
floors are on 1 fuse box and the basement
is wired onto the other. How can I fix
this problem, or is there a way to bridge
the 2 so signals will reach all over the
house?

Similar to coupling across three pahse
applications, you can try to use phase
couplers to bridge phase one of load center
one, over to phase one of load center two,
and so-on for phase two of LC one and phase
two of LC two. Under these conditions you
will probably need a amplifier/repeater in
one load center (which ever has most X10).
I don't have a clue if this might be against
some electrical code, you will have to
research that.

They will get coupled at the local
transformer...so it that's close by, your
best bet may be to just put an X10 amplifier
on the other panel. You will need to couple,
and possibly amplify both phases in each
panel as well.
